Fast Facts: Prior to working at the Mighty Brigham, Schade served as a senior manager in the healthcare IT practice at Ernst and Young. She also resided in the Chicago area for 12 years, working at a large integrated delivery system.

Why she's so fierce: Schade oversees IT and biomedical engineering initiatives at the world-renowned Brigham and Women's, which has a home-grown EMR--as well as at the affiliated Faulkner Hospital--and manages the IT staff at both hospitals. Among the projects she has led was the transition to speech recognition that now saves the hospital more than $1 million annually in transcription costs.
