SPOTLIGHT: Medical device standards
Four standards development organizations have come together to publish an online listing of more than 1,300 standards for medical devices. The newly launched site--called the Medical Device Standards Portal--brings together standards set by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, the American National Standards Institute, ASTM International and the German Institute for Standardization, allowing users to find specifications, compare revisions and post comments.
