The New York Genome Center recently announced a partnership between the New York City Economic Development Corporation and PILOT Health Tech NYC, which will award $100,000 grants to partnerships between health tech startups and major healthcare providers.

"Health tech entrepreneurs have said over and over that access to the market is really what matters," said Jean-Luc Neptune senior vice president of Health 2.0, a health tech consulting company that is managing PILOT, according to a blog post about the partnership. "There's enough money here, there's enough talent, enough space--it really comes down to the market."

The program will match startups with healthcare providers, and PILOT will fund 10 partnerships to implement trials for up to six months. Blog post
