CO group to provide technology lift for low-income health organizations
This week, a Colorado foundation agreed to provide $6 million in computers and software support for doctors, clinics and health organizations that cater to low-income and uninsured state residents. This follows its grant in 2007, when the group distributed $2.5 million in grants to help Colorado safety-net providers adopt IT. This comes as a joint venture between the HealthOne, a not-for-profit system, and HCA in 1995, and has assets of almost $900 million.
